The childhood of Pickler was not a smooth one. Her mother left her when she was just two in order to get out of an abusive relationship. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 to her life and took full custody. The situation did not go well. When Pickler reached the age of 12, the court returned her to her grandmothers, who brought her up to adulthood. Pickler could not be a parent to her children in their absence. She revealed that she no longer had time to learn and she began to understand how to become a housekeeper at a young age. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading teams of both high school and middle-school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004. Pickler has also been a contestant in a beauty pageant.
