Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was in part influenced from her childhood within a New York family of artists. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. She received the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office start around the globe. In 1972 her hand-footprints and signatures were recorded at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
